Trail Blazers to Upgrade Moda Center Scoreboard Ahead of 2025-26 Season
The upgrades come as part of a bigger renovation project for the arena.

As part of the ongoing Moda Center renovations, the Trail Blazers on Wednesday announced a long-overdue upgrade to their video scoreboard, to debut for the start of the 2025-26 season.
There will be two main elements to the new video board, which is being designed in partnership with Anthony James Partners. One is a main center scoreboard that will be 56 percent larger than the current one. According to the team, it will feature 2,092 square feet of seamless LED display.

The other is a reinvention of the corner stat displays at either endzone of the arena, which display basic stats for players on both teams as well as “hustle” stats. Rather than being traditional digital stat boards, as they’ve been since the arena opened in the mid-’90s, these displays will now be 24-by-50-foot video screens at each corner with a “ribbon” board between them.

"We’re building on our legacy of innovation with these new dynamic endzone videoboards, designed to bring fans closer to the game than ever before,” Blazers president of business operations Dewayne Hankins said in a press release. “No matter where you’re sitting in the arena, you’ll now have an incredible view of every play, every highlight and every stat – taking the Moda Center experience to the next level.”
The much-needed upgrade to the scoreboard comes as part of a greater set of renovations the Blazers are doing to the arena ahead of the 2030 NCAA Women’s Final Four. Moda Center is currently the oldest arena in the NBA to never undergo a major renovation.
